4417 Westake Drive achieves LEED-CI Silver

November 22, 2010

STG Design is excited to announce that our project 4417 Westlake Drive, a private philanthropic organization in Austin, a LEED-CI project, received its Silver Certification this Tuesday, November 9th, with 29 points achieved.  This is STG Design’s first LEED CI project.  A unique innovation point achieved was based on the client’s employee wellness program, tied to a MAYO clinic employee health study which allows employees to walk on treadmills in their workstations and conference rooms and measures the benefits of walking throughout the work week.

The Austin office also created the unique architectural exterior for the project. The exterior is seeking LEED Silver as well. Thanks to everyone on the team that made this project a success!  Project team: Jim Susman, Tim Pellowski, Polly Little, Whitney Brown, Wendy Rosamond, Jeff Ervin, Steve Brupbacher, Jim Stephenson, Steve Oldroyd, and Trey Pittman.Rene Benedict, Kelly McEachern & Juliee Beyt (Project Team Administrators), Bay & Associates (MEP), Chris Savasky & Meg Drucker @ Spaw-Maxwell (GC), Mark Warren @ ACR Engineering (Commissioning Agent).
