Shout out to our Nashville team! STG Design has been recognized with a national Excellence Award from the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) for our work on the expansion of Fiberweb’s Horizon Building on the Old Hickory Campus.
This design-build project was programmed as a research and development facility for non-woven fiber products. The interior has a free span of seventy feet and clear height of over forty-five feet, with a four-story mezzanine section housing the vertical fiber spindle equipment and a bridge crane. The façade is designed to showcase the non-woven fiber development process and to provide a new, more open image to their manufacturing complex.
Fiberweb and Scott Webb of Crain Construction worked in collaboration with STG Design and Logan Patri Engineering from the initial design phases all the way through the building’s completion and occupancy.
